忧忽之间国瑞仙逝三个月了!整理他的上百幅花鸟画、山水画及书法作品，幅幅精美字字绝伦。回想他几十年如一日勤奋苦学、精心创作笔耕不辍，感慨万千!这里，每幅字画都是他一生呕心沥血凝神而成，每幅画都充满着中华书画高超的笔墨技法和深远意境。多年来，在喧嚣飞扬的书画行业中，他全身心投入在水墨交融的书画创作和研究中，从未张扬自我，向来默默专注于书画创作和国画著作中。
It has been three months since Guorui left us in such a hurry! On collecting his many paintings of flowers, birds, landscapes, and calligraphy works, I feel each of them is exquisitely crafted and beautifully written. Recalling his demanding work in writing and painting throughout his life, I am filled with much sorrow and emotion! Here, all the calligraphy and painting are the art creation of his life. They are full of superb skills in brush and ink utilization and profound Chinese painting and calligraphy artistic conception. Over the years, in the hustle and bustle of the calligraphy and painting world, he only devoted himself to the creation and research of calligraphy and painting art day and night.
刘国瑞先生先后出版有《怎样画兰竹石》、《白描花卉谱》、《刘国瑞刘晖画集》、《画菊述要》及山东省职称艺术类考试题编审等美术教育著作。先生人品高洁心底纯厚，现虽驾鹤西去，但作为一位德艺双馨的中国艺术家为世人留下了宝贵的文化艺术珍品。在茫茫浩瀚的现 代网络中，我们将竭诚把先生优秀中国书画作品呈现出来，为世人分享高水平的字画艺术作品，传承中华艺术之魅力，促进世界多元文化艺术交流。
Mr. Liu Guorui had successively published many works on art education such as "How to Draw Orchid, Bamboo and Stone", "Plain Drawing Flower Patterns", "Liu Guorui and Liu Hui's Painting Collection", "The Essentials of Painting Chrysanthemums". He used to be the editor and reviewer for the art examinations of Shandong provincial professional positions. As a gentleman of noble character with a pure heart, a Chinese artist with both virtue and art skills, he left precious cultural and artistic treasures for the world, although he left us for paradise. In the vast and vast network today, we are wholeheartedly presenting his excellent Chinese calligraphy and painting works here. We wish to share the high-level calligraphy and painting works of art with you, so as to inherit the charm of Chinese art, to promote multicultural art exchanges worldwide.

刘国瑞先生早年师承书画宗师李苦禅、张茂才先生学习书画，为其得意弟子。一生不断临 习研究历代书法碑帖及各名家名作。深得李苦禅、张茂才、启功、康殷、萧娴等大师称赞。 1986 年刘国瑞先生与夫人刘晖女士在中国美术馆举办个人专题书画展览时启功老先生到 场参观，便不由地连声叫好并说:“我不是随意叫好，是确实好我才说好。”
中国美术馆著名美术评论家刘曦林先生评论刘国瑞先生的书画艺术:“融北派之粗犷厚朴 及南派之明丽灵秀为一体，自成一家。从他创作画幅结构的雄伟气势，画面表现的丰富性， 清晰的层次感，用笔奇倔俊拔而飘逸灵动的秀逸之气，都可看出他的博采众长融会贯通而又自具个性。从笔墨的厚重上也可看出他书法上下的苦功。”
中国美术馆美术理论研究部主任董玉龙先生评论:“书法与绘画两项功力有如此深厚者， 全国罕见。”
Mr. Liu Guorui studied his calligraphy and painting under the masters of calligraphy and painting, Mr. Li Kuchan and Mr. Zhang Maocai, as their proud disciples. Throughout his life, he continued to study calligraphy inscriptions and masterpieces of various famous masters. Won the praise of Li Kuchan, Zhang Maocai, Qi Gong, Kang Yin, Xiao Xian and other masters.
In 1986, when Mr. Liu Guorui and his wife, Ms. Liu Hui, held a personal special painting and calligraphy exhibition at the National Art Museum of China, and the master Qigong came to visit. He couldn't help but repeatedly applauded and said, "I'm not applauding at random; I say yes and they are really good."
Mr. Liu Xilin, a well-known art critic of the National Art Museum of China, commented on Mr. Liu Guorui's calligraphy and painting art: "It integrates the roughness and simplicity of the northern artists and the bright, beautiful and graceful style of the southern artists. The clear sense of hierarchy, the stubbornness and graceful elegance of his brushwork, all show that he is well-versed and has his own personality. From the thickness of the brush and ink, we can also see his hard work in calligraphy."
